According to an in-depth data analysis by the Marijuana Policy Group,
the impact of Colorado's cannabis industry on the state is nothing to blow smoke at. Legal cannabis activities generated an output of $2.39 billion in 2015, with almost $1 billion in sales for the year, a 42.4% increase from the previous year. Pot now outperforms all private industries in Colorado, including mining, oil and gas, casinos, business services, general manufacturing and alcohol.
Our discussion this 4/20 will be anything but hazy as we touch on topics including job creation, tax revenues, legal concerns and regulatory hurdles, as well as the industry's staggering effect on Colorado's economic growth
